Fence Installation – Complete Work Description
Scope of Work

Site Preparation:

Inspect property boundaries and confirm layout with the client.

Clear installation area of debris, vegetation, or obstructions.

Mark fence line with stakes and string for accuracy.

Post Setting:

Dig holes at specified intervals (typically 6–8 feet apart, depending on fence type).

Ensure depth meets code/structural requirements (usually 1/3 of post height in ground, or as per local regulations).

Place posts in concrete or compacted gravel for stability.

Align and level posts vertically and horizontally.

Panel/Board Installation:

Attach rails, panels, pickets, or boards depending on fence style (wood, vinyl, chain-link, aluminum, etc.).

Secure with appropriate fasteners and hardware.
-
Maintain consistent height, spacing, and alignment along the full length.

Gate Installation:
-
Install gates at designated locations with hinges, latches, and posts reinforced for weight.

Ensure gates open/close smoothly and are properly aligned.

Finishing Work:

Trim or cut posts to uniform height (if applicable).

Apply caps, paint, stain, or protective coatings as specified.

Remove construction debris and leave the site clean.
